Police appeal after spate of thefts in Stamford

Police are appealing for witnesses to a number of thefts in Stamford over the weekend.

Thieves stole a laptop, Nokia phones and a sat-nav from a car in Chestnut Gardens between 9pm and 7am on Saturday night.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote incident number 85 of January 26.

Another sat-nav was taken from a vehicle in St Paul’s Street which thieves broke into between 5.55pm and 8.55pm on Saturday. Incident number 386 of January 25.

An A-board was stolen from a business in Ironmonger Street between 4.45pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday. Incident number 279 of January 25.

And on Friday night a white and green BMX bike was stolen from outside a house in The Courtyard.

The bike was only a few weeks old and is in very good condition.
