POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of thefts in Stamford.

A computer was taken from a house in Exeter Gardens on Thursday night after thieves got in through the conservatory door.

Thieves also broke into a house through a front window in Exeter Gardens on Saturday night and took a television, laptops and a hard drive.

A house in Exeter Gardens was also broken into last night (Sunday) through a back window and took a television.

Also last night, a white BMW X5 was stolen from Charlock Drive.

A range of silver items were taken from a house in Tinwell Road sometime last week while the homeowner was away. The thieves got in through a ground floor window. The theft was discovered this morning (Monday).

Police have also revealed this week that the frame of a trampoline was stolen from a back garden in Lambeth Walk on Sunday, July 15, and was taken out of the side gate.

It is not yet known if the thefts are connected.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who might have witnessed anything suspicious and are asking people to call 101.
