POLICE in the Deepings area have warned they are ready to take action on drivers who ignore the laws.
The Market Deeping Neighbourhood Policing Team has vowed to crack down on its three priority areas, which are speeding, inconsiderate parking and cycling on the pavements.
The police hold regular meetings, where people are invited to go and raise their concerns, and police community support officer Michelle Laughton said these were issues which were coming up regularly across the area.
The team covers Market Deeping, Deeping St James, West Deeping, Tallington, Uffington, Langtoft, Baston and Barholm.
Officer Laughton said: “We want to say to people we are not going to tolerate these issues and remind them that these are offences.”
Officers will be carrying out regular patrols and can issue on the spot fines of up to £60.
The next panel meeting will be in April when the issues will be reviewed.
