Purse, bins, pressure washer and £1,000 bike stolen in Stamford

Police are looking into several thefts around Stamford over the last few days.

A Nike purse was stolen from a woman’s handbag in Broad Street on Friday. Call 101 quoting incident 214 of July 19 if you saw anything.

Two galvanised bins and two metal taps were taken from the cemetery in Little Casterton Road between Wednesday and Thursday. Incident 346 of July 18.

Two bicycles were stolen from outside a home in Northumberland Avenue on Saturday morning.

One was a metallic blue road bike worth about £1,000. The other was a men’s mountain bike with blue writing down the side.

Neither bike was locked up. Incident 150 of July 20.

And a pressure washer was taken from a white Ford Transit van in Recreation Ground Road between 8pm on Sunday and 7.30am today (Monday). Incident 54 of July 22.
