Purses stolen from Stamford town centre shoppers
Thieves have been targeting town centre shoppers.
Purses were stolen from shoppers in Help The Aged, in St Paul’s Street, and Oxfam, in High Street, Stamford, between midday and 12.40pm on Saturday.
Police have appealed for witnesses and have warned shoppers to be alert for thieves. Purse chains are available from Stamford police station.
