Thieves take cash and equipment from hair salon and tattooist

A hair salon was broken in the early hours of this morning (Friday).

A charity box with hundreds of pounds inside, hair styling equipment and cash were among the items taken from Kim Smith’s Hair Design in St Paul’s Street, Stamford. The door was forced open.

A tattoo parlour above was also broken into and items were taken.

It is believed the theft happened at about 2am but was only discovered at 8am when hair stylist Nick Hitchens arrived at work. The hair salon was open as normal today.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.
