Doors and shutters on a historic building has been defaced by vandals.

The graffiti was found on the Grade II listed Baldock’s Mill in South Street, Bourne, last Saturday morning.

Baldock’s Mill is home to a heritage centre and museum in the town run by Bourne Civic Society.

Civic society committee member Jim Jones said: “It is just mindless vandalism.

“It’s just not very good. It’s no Banksy that we could keep.

“It will cost us money to put it right which is frustrating. We are an independent charity and we don’t have a lot of money to spend.”
