POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two shopfront windows were smashed.
TGUK Windows, on Scotgate, Stamford, has had store windows broken on March 18 and April 3.
The firm’s Christie Rattle said: “We are not sure what caused the first incident when our door window was smashed, but on Sunday night our front window was smashed and we found a large rock outside, so it seems to have been deliberate.
“We have no CCTV so we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.”
Sector Insp Gary Stewart said: “We would ask people to refrain from this kind of behaviour.
The timing suggests the windows were smashed by people on their way back from a night out, but being drunk is not an excuse.”
Anyone with information on the incidents should call the police on 0300 111 0300.
