Woman undergoes surgery after assault at bar in Bourne

A woman required surgery on her shoulder after she was seriously injured during an incident at a bar in Bourne.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which happened at The Jubilee public house in North Street, Bourne, at about 1am on Saturday.

A 43-year-old woman from Bourne was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with injuries to her shoulder. She required surgery but police were unable to say if she has been released from hospital.

Police say four women were involved in the incident, including the injured woman. No-one has been arrested and officers wish to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. Call 101 quoting incident 50 of October 19.
