Woman warned she could face jail after admitting sex assault in 1988

A WOMAN who admitted sexually assaulting a teenage boy more than 20 years ago has been warned she could face jail.

Ann Seymour, 67, of The Green, Thurlby, today (Monday) pleaded guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to two charges of indecently assaulting the boy in 1988.

Judge Michael Heath adjourned sentence until later this year to allow for the preparation of a probation report.

He granted Seymour bail but warned her: “The fact that I grant you bail does not mean that you won’t go to prison when I come to sentence you.”
