Scarecrows, dogs and Morris dancers were the star attractions at a popular village event this Bank Holiday weekend.
Exton Day was held on Monday and crowds of people turned out as the rain failed to dampen the spirits of visitors and stall holders.
The fun included a scarecrow trail, a performance from the Way of the Wyrd Morris men and live music from local band The Extones.
The dog show, in which more than 50 dogs competed, was won by Langham resident Marina Boles’ little spaniel Wooster.
Families also enjoyed a host of traditional children’s games, more than 20 stalls and a tea and cake sale.
Donations are still coming in but the show has so far raised £850 for the Villagers for Exton Church, a group which raises funds for church maintenance and projects.
Organiser Annette Oliver said: “The rain didn’t stop people coming and it was an absolutely brilliant day.
“People came from a long way away and I’m grateful for everyone who came out to support it. Everyone had such enthusiasm and it was great to see.”
