Stamford’s focus returns to their league campaign this evening with a trip to fifth-placed Rainworth Miners Welfare.

After the disappointment of Saturday’s FA Trophy exit at the hands of Evo-Stik Premier side Buxton, the Daniels will have Michael Jacklin and Louis Hamilton available for selection - the pair were cup-tied at the weekend when lost 2-0.

“We were beaten by the better side on Saturday,” said Daniels boss Graham Drury.

“They are from a division above and we expected a tough game. Now we have to put that behind us.

“Hopefully we can put another run together and challenge for the top five and promotion.”

Drury’s squad is returning to full strength with Jake Gibson coming on as substitute, after a long lay-off, during Saturday’s defeat.

This evening’s game at Rainworth kicks off at 7.45pm. Saturday’s match at home to Mickleover Sports starts at 3pm.

Tonight’s Evo_Stik League First Division South fixtures: Belper Town v Romulus; Gresley v Northwich Victoria; Rainworth MW v Stamford; Sutton Coldfield Town v Kings Lynn Town.
