THE Burghley Arms dart team is holding a knock out darts competition on Sunday night to raise money to send terminally ill father Colin Ketteringham and his young family on a dream trip to Walt Disney World.

Colin, 50, of Daisy Court, Bourne, suffers from multiple system atrophy, a degenerative condition that affects nerve cells in the brain leading to loss of movement and bodily functions.

The event organiser Daryn Mason-Wright said: “I have known Colin for years. We were in the same class at school so when I heard about the money he is trying to raise I thought we should get involved.”

The event is at The Burghley Arms pub in North Street, Bourne.

Entry costs £3 each, all players must be registered by 7pm.
