Pupils from schools across the area were learning how to save energy as part of a countywide scheme.

Lincolnshire County Council’s SCoRE Programme was launched at The Deepings School, Deeping St James Primary School and Linchfield Primary School, in a bid to inform youngsters of how to bring sustainability to their school.

The programme teaches schools energy-saving strategies and tells them how to put them into effect via fun and interactive workshops.

The schools were also informed of their own energy consumption.

During the council’s sustainability team’s visit, the pupils held a presentation to show what they are already doing for sustainability. To sign up to the scheme, e-mail score@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
