A dedicated group of knitters handed over hundreds of pounds to good causes.
The Cheeky Chicks, a group based in the Deepings, sell knitted chicks and Christmas gifts during the holidays.
This year they chose to support the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Lives first responders, Deeping Men’s Group and Isla Del Rey of Menorca.
Shops, supermarkets, pubs and individuals agreed to sell on the knitted products and helped raise £5,500 in total.
The money was handed over at a presentation night at the Walnut Tree in Deeping St James last month, pictured.
Representatives from each of the causes were on hand to explain where the money would go and express their thanks for the donations.
Since beginning their project in Easter 2014 the Cheeky Chicks have managed to raise more than £9,000 for good causes.
