A Ritz style tea dance was held at the Bourne Corn Exchange on Wednesday last week for carers and people living with dementia.

The event was organised by Dementia Support South Lincolnshire.

Memory health care worker Kate Marshall said: “It has been a huge success, everyone has enjoyed themselves and thanks to everyone for doing their bit.

“A special thanks must go to Tesco for their wonderful contribution of £1,000 to support this event, we are very grateful.”

Dementia Support South Lincolnshire was formed in 2011 and is an independent charity supporting around 200 families in the Bourne, Stamford and Deepings areas.

Most of the events organised are paid for by the charities own fund raising activities.

The next event is a harvest coffee morning from 10am to midday on October 16 at Bourne Corn Exchange. There will be crafts, jewellery, hand made cards, tombola, stained glass and wood turned items.
