A FLEET auditor has been awarded for his dedicated service to a tyre company.

Dennis Fisher, 58, from Kestrel Drive, Bourne, received a special achievement award from his employers, Kingsway Tyres Stamford, on the Gwash Way industrial estate, after more than 30 years of hard work for the company.

He was presented with the unsung hero award at a company conference after years of being responsible for making sure tyres that are leased to customers are safe for driving.

Dennis said: “I’m so pleased with the recognition I’ve had for the service I’ve given over the years.

“It’s wonderful to see what an impact your work has had on other people in the business and how much they appreciate what you’ve done for them.”

A spokesman for Kingsway Tyres Stamford said: “Dennis is always willing to complete additional tasks and he always uses his initiative to solve problems.

“It’s wonderful to have him rewarded for his excellent work ethic.”
