Staff and customers at a business in Bourne have shown their generosity by donating items to be distributed to people in the town.

Carlsberg’s Distribution Depot in Spalding Road are pictured handing over a huge quantity of donated items to Len Pick Trust, which will distribute the gifts to needy individuals and caring agencies including: The Salvation Army, Toolbar, Bourne Wellbeing Group and Alison Pettit of Bourne Abbey Church who organises an annual Christmas Day Lunch.

Depot manager Paul Jordan said: “As a company we like to play our part in the community, and we and our customers are very pleased to be able to build on the success of previous year’s collections.

Chairman of The Len Pick Trust Ranna Patel said: “We know how much these gifts means to so many people.

“The sheer volume of the goods is almost overwhelming and we know that many families and individuals who will receive these goods will really appreciate the fantastic effort that has been made by the depot to make Christmas a special time.”
