Community first responders (CFRs) in Wittering have received a donation of around £2,000 to help them buy new lifesaving kit.

The money came from Stamford XT, a group of ex-Round Tablers who raise funds for local charitable causes.

The new equipment includes a defibrillator and a pulse oximeter, which measures oxygen levels in the body, as well as training materials.

Andy Gardner, co-ordinator of the group which also covers Wansford and Barnack, said: “We are so grateful to the Stamford XT for its generous donation.”
