A SUMMER fete at Dowsby Hall has raised money for the village church.
The fete, which was opened by the Rev Anna Sorensen, had all the normal range of traditional stalls and games as well as a patriotic stand selling only red, white and blue items.
Visitors were taken on a tour of the old house and blues band Kafka also entertained the crowds.
The afternoon of activities, heavily supported by the Rippingale WI, raised about £500 for St Andrew’s Church.
Dowsby Hall owner Jennifer Jennings said: “It was very good, it was a lovely day.
“We were very happy with the turn out, we got a lot of support from the neighbouring villages.
“I want to thank everyone who helped and came along.”
