YOUNGSTERS had the chance to get messy at an Easter art workshop.
About 40 children aged between four and 11 turned up at Bluecoat Primary School for a range of Easter themed activities.
They made 3D Easter eggs and painted a huge egg and in the afternoon got to go on a chocolate egg hunt.
Organiser Lisa Jackson said: “The children were fantastic, the older ones helped the younger ones find the golden tickets in the trees to exchange for Easter eggs. They all went away with smiles on their faces, it was a great day out for them.
“Workshops like this are a good way for kids to meet new friends and do messy activities they might not do at home.”
The art workshop was the final day in a series of holiday activities put on by the Stamford schools cluster, a group of primary schools and Stamford Queen Eleanor School.
