Pupils got a taste of a time-travelling tale as an author came to visit.

Alex Scarrow, who writes the TimeRiders series, spoke to Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils at Stamford School.

He talked about his career and his latest novel, The Pirate Kings. A group of six boys then took part in an interactive quiz where they were able to buzz the correct answer.
