A BAKING contest will be the highlight of a school’s autumn festival.
Glapthorn Primary School will hold the event from 3.30pm on October 20.
Top patisserie chef Jaqui Ludwig will be the judge of a dessert competition.
Visitors are also invited to bring along their homemade scarecrows, home carved pumpkins and autumnal flower arrangements to be judged in competitions which will run throughout the festival.
There will be a chance to get some early Christmas shopping done, with more than 20 craft, gift and artisan food businesses already signed up to run a stall.
The festival will culminate in a potluck supper.
