A PRE-SCHOOL has ended the year on a high with an outstanding inspection report.
Barnack Pre-school was awarded the “Outstanding” grade in all categories in a recent Ofsted inspection.
The school, which lies in the grounds of Barnack Primary School, opened a new custom-made building on June 11.
The building cost £93,000, £80,000 of which came from a Peterborough City Council grant, £5,000 from Barnack Parish Council and £2,000 from the Burghley Family Trust.
Secretary Sophie Moore called the result “amazing”.
She said: “The report contains some really great comments about the strengths of the pre-school and its staff.
“We really feel like we are ending the year on a high and are proud of our achievements.”
The pre-school will increase its opening hours to 9am to 3pm, Tuesday to Thursday, from September.
It will remain open from 9am to midday on Monday and Friday.
