Bourne Academy pupils get expert lesson in rebranding

Pupils learning geography have been visited by a marketing expert to help them learn how to rebrand a town.

Bourne Academy Year 12 pupils were visited by Tim Nicol, who shed light on some key aspects of the rebranding process, such as the creation of an effective and memorable logo and the involvement of the local community.

Geography teacher Stephen Akeroyd said: “The students really enjoyed the session which was an excellent addition to their normal curriculum, and gave them an insight into future possible career choices in marketing.”
