ACADEMIC and sporting achievements were cele-brated at an awards night at Casterton Business and Enterprise College.

Baroness Berridge, of the Vale of Catmose, was the guest speaker at this year’s prize-giving event and took the opportunity to deliver an inspiring speech about aiming aim to achieve your goals.

The audience also listened to presentations from pupils about different school activities which have taken place this year and enjoyed musical entertainment by Thomas Radley and Ellie James.

Principal Victoria Crosher said: “Thanks go to all the performers who provided such fantastic entertainment on the night. We know the Year 12s were very appreciative of their efforts.

“Our guest speaker told us how much she enjoyed visiting Casterton and getting to know us better and working with us.”
