A FOOTBALL coach opened a new trim trail facility at a primary school last week.

Catmose Primary welcomed Tom Bingley who is community head coach from Nottingham Forest football club, to open the new activity centre.

Funded by money raised by the schools’ Parent Teachers Association, the trim trail will be available for use by all pupils.

The swing ropes and climbing bars will encourage students to play outdoors and improve their fitness in a fun and exciting environment.

Vice principal Kelly Jackson said: “We are very grateful for the support of the PTA and our parents in raising money for the trim trail. The children are very excited at being able to use it.”

The PTA will continue with their fundraising to extend the Trim Trail further. If you are able to help, please contact the school on 01572 723187.
