SCHOOLCHILDREN have received goodie bags to thank them for helping out with a consultation project.

Pupils at Catmose Primary School in Oakham spent time working with Rutland County Council’s youth leaders earlier this term to share their ideas about play equipment in the town.

This week the youth leaders returned to the school to deliver the thank-you gifts, which included fold-up Frisbees, badges and key rings.

School secretary Suzi Green said: “The children enjoyed taking part in the consultation and are really pleased with their goodie bags.”
