A Ruskington primary school wasn’t ‘woolly’ about getting involved in a quirky fund raiser.
Chestnut Street primary school was getting in the Christmas spirit before breaking up for the festive period by showing off children’s best Christmas jumpers as part of a world-wide appeal by Save the Children.
Each child paid a donation to come into school wearing a wacky festive jumper.
and a group of Year Six pupils also baked and sold cakes to add to their total, raising more than £100 through cake sales alone.
Then later in the afternoon, parents came into school to enjoy some festive craft making activities, as well as some complimentary tea and coffee.
