ELDERLY people in Bourne have been treated to a mini concert by children from the town.

A group of 14 three and four-year-old children from Headstart Nursey in Great Northern Gardens visited Digby Court care home, in Christopher’s Lane, yesterday (Monday) to perform of classic children’s songs to the residents.

Pre-school supervisor Di Perry said: “It went brilliantly - the residents seemed to really enjoy it. They were bobbing along to the music and joining in.”

Head of care at Digby Court Debbie Ward said: “The residents thought it was absolutely wonderful they loved it.”

This was the second time the pre-school has visited the care home. They sang Christmas songs for the residents last year.
