Hundreds of school pupils turned their hands to sculpting for a special exhibition.

Year 5 and 6 classes from every primary school in Stamford were invited to create pieces of art from molded chicken wire.

Sculptor William Ashley Norman visited each school to work with the children.

And once their work was complete the youngsters put their work on display at Stamford Arts Centre.

Deputy mayor of Stamford Clem Walden paid a visit to see the children’s sculptures.

Stamford schools cluster co-ordinator Lisa Jackson thanked Sandy Lawson for working tirelessly to set up the event.
