As children across Rutland tuck into chocolate eggs this weekend, pupils at a school in Oakham celebrated a little early.
Youngsters at Brooke Priory School in Oakham sported some fabulous Easter-themed bonnets, which they had made themselves.
They then took part in a parade, which is an annual spectacle at the school that everyone enjoys.
Parents, grandparents and friends all gathered in the library and enjoyed a cup of coffee thanks to the Friends of Brooke Priory, whilst they waited for the children to arrive.
Staff said the children had some fabulous creations to show off and described it as a wonderful way to round off a happy and successful term!
