Pupils were full of smiles as they got into the rhythm during a special music lesson.
Youngsters at Exton and Greetham Primary School enjoyed a morning of African drumming in a workshop that was led by Keba, a Senegalese drummer.
As well as having a lot of fun, the children were able to learn different rhythms and about the different sounds that can be made by an African drum. Keba also talked about how he developed his own drumming skills growing up in Senegal.
The school thanked Rutland Music and the Music Hub for Rutland, who paid for and arranged the visit.
