A top rugby star put schoolboys through their paces in a gruelling assault course.

England international and Leicester Tigers lock Geoff Parling visited Stamford School last month.

He led a group of Year 8 boys through the school’s annual assault course in aid of Help for Heroes.

The boys asked their friends and family for sponsorship and are now collecting the money.

Head of history Dan Stamp said: “Well done to everyone for going above and beyond in aid of this extremely worthwhile cause.”
