Education service the best nationally
CfBT Education Services has won been named School Improvement Service of the Year 2012at the Education Investor Awards.
Judges commended CfBT’s Lincolnshire based education services for their sustained improvements across a large rural authority, including services rated as outstanding by Ofsted, the birth to five service and successes in education.
CfBT’s director of education services Andy Breckon said: “This reflects the excellent performance of our staff in Lincolnshire, their working relationship with schools and our outstanding partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.”
Councillor Mrs Patricia Bradwell, Executive Councillor for Children’s Services, said: “Ten years ago, Lincolnshire County Council entered into a contract with CfBT and this well deserved award highlights the value of our partnership contract and the work of CfBT during this period that has really made a difference for supporting our schools. To beat strong competition from all other authorities and be the best in the country is a high accolade.”
