A VILLAGE is celebrating after its pre-school and after-school clubs received overwhelming praise from Ofsted inspectors.
Langtoft Playzone Kids’ Club and Langtoft Pre-School both received outstanding ratings across the board thanks to the quality of their care and the dedication of their staff.
The groups are run independently on the same site as the village school.
Directors of the kids’ club, Dorinda Unsworth and Sandra Seal, are delighted with the report, which comes just five years after they launched the business. Mrs Unsworth said: “The report is absolutely fantastic and I think it comes down to the fact that we have some wonderful children who do some wonderful things.
“We have all worked really hard for this and I think the inspector was most impressed with the close-knit environment here.
“We always work closely with the parents and the school.”
Ofsted inspector Janet Keeling said: “Staff offer a fully inclusive, warm and welcoming service.
“The setting is led and managed by an experienced and highly motivated manager who, together with the staff team, provides exceptional levels of care and support for all children.”
To improve further the directors have been asked to focus on the results of a risk assessment for the car park, which is managed by Langtoft Primary School.
Staff and pupils at Langtoft Pre School are also celebrating after they too received outstanding ratings in all areas of their work.
