YOUNGSTERS learned the secrets of the pyramids during an ancient Egyptian day.
Year 4 pupils at Market Deeping Community Primary School enjoyed a taste of ancient Egypt.
The children dressed up for the day in traditional homemade costumes and learned how to make healthy Egyptian food such as flatbread and vegetable couscous in the morning.
They then made Egyptian coin purses in the afternoon.
Class teacher Vicky Brown said “The children really enjoyed dressing up and getting hands-on with ancient Egyptian activities, it made the learning come alive for them.”
