Ofsted praises Bourne Abbey Primary Academy early years provision

An early years provision and children’s club has been judged to be outstanding following a no-notice inspection by Ofsted.

Ofsted has judged an The Kindergarten and Kids Club run by Bourne Abbey Primary Academy gained the top ranking at its inspection on February 7.

Headteacher Cherry Edwards said: “We are exceptionally proud of our early years and extended school provision and are delighted that Ofsted have once again recognised the vital role it plays in helping children to develop into secure, happy, confident and successful learners.”

The report said children made rapid progress because of the highly skilled staff. The children’s safety and the staff’s partnership with parents was also praised.
