Pupils, parents and staff got into the Christmas spirit on Friday at Stamford primary school’s fair.

The Christmas event at St Augustine’s Primary School, which included stalls, games, crafts, refreshments and special visit from Santa, was a huge hit.

Visitors were serenaded by the school choir while they enjoyed the attractions on offer.

School business manager Susan Bray said: “It was a really nice day, the parent teacher association raised £850.

“We had excellent attendance. It was
packed.”

The money raised will help expand the outside
playarea.
