PUPILS travelled to a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth for a history lesson.
Bourne Abbey Primary Academy children took part in two history enrichment days last week.
Each class took part in a range of activities, including singing dinosaur songs and raps, excavating as palaeontologists and creating dinosaur models and paintings.
Pupils in Year 2 researched different types of dinosaurs and wrote extended stories and Key Stage 2 pupils aged seven to 11 enjoyed investigating fossils.
Youngsters also studied the land, continents, vegetation and climate of the time.
They looked into the features of a variety of dinosaurs to understand how the creatures survived during that time period.
