PUPILS have raised £365 for a school through an innovative project.

Youngsters in Years 4 and 5 at Edith Weston Primary School have been running a mug enterprise business to raise money to buy extra resources for the school.

During the project, the children have prepared order sheets and had a marketing and sales team to promote the venture. They have also borrowed machinery so they can print photographs onto the mugs and sell them on.

Teacher Anna Green said the children were delighted with the amount raised, which included an anonymous donation.

She said: “The children gained an enormous amount from the process.”
