SCHOOLCHILDREN have donated their old uniforms to kit out underprivileged pupils in Kosovo.
Catmose Primary organised a uniform amnesty following its change from Southfield Primary School when it became part of a federation with Catmose College.
The clothes have been donated to the Hope and Aid Direct charity which supports children and families in Kosovo. Volunteer Paul Dyer visited the school in Oakham to collect the donated uniforms.
Vice principal Kelly Jackson said: “The children wanted to donate their old uniform to others who may not have a uniform to wear. We changed our school name to reflect the federation with Catmose College and so wanted to put the old uniform to good use.”
