Pupils count awards after maths challenge

More than 25 Year 5 and 6 pupils at Brooke Priory School in Oakham earned themselves either a gold, silver or bronze certificate.

Those who achieved gold were Oliver Drakard, Edward Jones, Mya Onyett, Clare Maitland and Jacob Davies.

The pupils were presented with their awards in a school assembly.

Headteacher Elizabeth Bell said: “The standard of mathematics that is required to gain an award is extremely high and I am delighted that our boys and girls have done so well.”
