More than 100 pupils at Oakham School gave up their weekend to help others.

The youngsters teamed up with Oakham in Bloom to tidy the garden area at Oakham Library while others carried out fundraising bag packing.

Some pupils served lunches at retirement homes and the activities were part of the school’s service weekend.
