CHILDREN will be saying no to drugs after completing a programme warning of the dangers.

Year 6 children at Cottesmore Primary School have completed the 10-week DARE programme, which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, and was led by PC Colin Everett.

To mark the end of the programme, the school held a graduation celebration evening on Thursday last week, which was attended by parents, RAF personnel and governors.

School secretary Sam Amos said: “The children all really enjoyed completing the DARE programme so the graduation evening was a special night.

“They have all worked really hard with lots of support from parents.”
