Pupils have enjoyed success outside their classrooms at regional singing and swimming competitions.
Choirs from Bourne Abbey Primary Academy won accolades at two recent choir festivals in Peterborough and Oundle which they entered for the first time.
At Peterborough, the junior choir came first in their class with distinction and were awarded the Phillips Trophy and the senior choir were second in their class with distinction.
At Oundle the seniors won the Brudenell Cup and the juniors were third in class.
Sporting pupils took home the spoils from the annual Bourne and Deeping Swimming Gala.
Both of the lower and upper junior girls teams finished first in their categories, whilst both the boys teams were runners-up.
Head teacher Cherry Edwards said: “We are extremely proud of the achievements of our pupils.”
