A WILDLIFE expert wowed pupils and teachers at a school on Thursday.
Nick Williams, from Rippingale, visited Brooke Priory School, in Station Approach, Oakham, to give two presentations on his most recent wildlife encounters.
He asked the children in pre-prep and prep classes about the animals and rewarded them with stickers and photographs. He uses his experience as a former teacher to grasp the children’s imaginations.
The highlights of the presentations this year were photographs of a puffin and meerkats.
Headteacher Elizabeth Bell said: “We all enjoyed Nick’s wonderful presentation which gave the children and fantastic insight into the natural world.”
