Pupils at Busy Bee Pre-School celebrate Chinese New Year

CHILDREN have been broadening their cultural horizons with a range of activities to celebrate Chinese New Year on Monday.

The youngsters at Busy Bee Pre-School in Bourne celebrated by making dragon masks and fans, having a go at Chinese writing, listening to music and creating their own dragon dance. They also had a go at eating noodles with chopsticks.

Deputy manager Laura Cuthbertson said: “They were really good at it and loved eating them.

“The children have also made a red and gold dragon den in our cosy corner and dressed up in special Chinese clothes.”
