A SCHOOL wants to build a cricket scoreboard and tuck shop.

The governors of Stamford Endowed Schools have applied to South Kesteven District Council to build a hut with attached scoreboard on the Stamford School playing fields.

The tuck shop would lie close to the lower middle school and would be built in a similar style to neighbouring school buildings.

It would be made of brick with a tiled roof and a window to the rear.

According to the application it would provide pupils with a facility they are currently lacking.
