PUPILS took part in a series of business challenges inspired by BBC 1’s The Apprentice series.

Year 8 boys and girls at Stamford Queen Eleanor tested their business acumen with quizzes, team activities and trading tasks during the Motivate Year 8 event.

The 90 pupils were split into four teams to build a rollercoaster during the event, which helped them develop business skills.

Headteacher Wendy Hamilton, added: “These days allow them to think differently and really focus on developing their commercial and teamwork skills.”
